Neshama Center is a nonprofit educational organization based
in the Roaring Fork Valley of Aspen, Colorado. We strive to bring
Jewish traditions and life cycle celebrations to our community in a way
that enriches us spiritually and intellectually in an open and inviting
atmosphere.
Established
in 2006, the Neshama Center offers educational programming to students from
Aspen to Glenwood Springs with child, adult, and family classes that
will ensure positive growth, unity, and the preservation of our culture
and traditions.
It
is an honor for us to prepare students for their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs
and guide them in a personal and meaningful way through their rite of
passage into young adults who can participate in all areas of Jewish
community life. In addition to presiding over B'nai Mitzvah, we also
officiate traditional weddings and naming celebrations and observe with
our Jewish community through the High Holidays, Succoth, Hanukkah,
Purim, Tu B'ishvat, Passover, Yom Ha'atzmaut, Lag Baomer and Shavuot.
Neshama Center will continue to fulfill our mission and we welcome you and your family to join us.
